How a match works

1. Budget+ on a card is production — it fills this round’s budget while the card is in hand. Place is cost — spend it to put the unit on the field.
2. Place up to 5 units this round. The field holds at most 8 (including summons).
3. After Ready, units fight on their own. Your only live action is a spell — each spell once per match, not per round.
4. Survivors return with XP (cost rises). Mulliganed cards leave the match forever.
5. Spend the budget. Field every unit you can afford this round. Holding cards does not help — unspent budget is wasted power now and next round.
